Our children love any chance to explore, research and discover, so British Science Week was a must at Britannia School Moscow from the 9th – 18th March.
During a ten-day celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths, the children at Britannia School explored a range of topics under the theme ‘Exploration and Discovery’.
Pre-Nursery spent this time making kaleidoscopes, painting magic bread and experimenting with colour. ‘Space Science’ was the topic for Nursery. In which they made erupting moon craters, alien eggs and lava lamps. Whilst in Reception, they spent the week exploring ‘Super Science’; mixing colours in their potion lab, making batman signals and helping unlock superheroes with mathematical combinations.
At the end of the week, the children were awarded a British Science Week certificate from the UK, for partaking in an interesting and explosive week!
